OVERALL PERSONALITY[/b]
▪ strong- Annabelle is a very strong girl. She has no problem with doing something on her own, she has been known to get a lot of things done without the help of friends. I’m not saying that Anna is anti-social, but she doesn’t need to have friends with her to get things done. Annabelle has been called independent by many people who know her well. Annabelle has been this way all through high school- and even part of grade school. She never worried about what people thought of her, or even considered what people were thinking when they saw her. She did want she wanted to do and that was that. Annabelle doesn’t get dependent upon anybody- even if she has a boyfriend. Sometimes she has been told that she’s cold and distant, but Anna likes to protect her heart. Not only that, but Annabelle has always lived a certain way- and when someone lives with her, she doesn’t really change how she does things. Getting dependent upon somebody is a sign of being weak- in Annabelle’s eyes. Not only that, but if something were to happen, which usually does, and they separate- Annabelle doesn’t ever want to be the girl that falls apart. She wants to continue going on her strong streak, she doesn’t want to seem vulnerable or helpless. Now, Anna got to be this way when her parents started to ignore her and not treat her like their daughter. Maybe that’s because they had three other children to tend to- but Anna always had that feeling that she wasn’t getting the attention she deserved. So, she protected her heart by becoming independent and almost distant in her interactions with her family. And when it became very easy to act this way, Annabelle continued to live this way- even though she has been away from her family for years now.
▪ outgoing- Annabelle can be very outgoing when she is around her close friends. Even when Annabelle is meeting new people, she has no problem with having a conversation that is filled with words instead of those awkward silences. But this is how Annabelle has always been. Maybe it was because of the fact that she had three other siblings that all tried to get their parent’s attention. Of course, after trying for a few years or so to get her parents’ attention, Annabelle started to realize that no matter how hard she tried- she would never be as good as her younger sister, Jane. Jane is one of those goody- goody girls, and no matter how hard any of the other siblings tried, they would not be as good Jane was, in their parents’ eyes. So, Annabelle seemingly stuck to the way of being outgoing, but not to get attention. Annabelle finds it frustrating when she meets new people and they are quiet and shy. Sure, people tend to open up once you get to know them, but those painfully shy people? Well… let’s just say that those specific conversations will end rather quickly, depending on how Annabelle’s day is going. She won’t be terribly rude about it, but it is easy to get out of conversations that she doesn’t want to partake in. Other times that Annabelle is outgoing are, obviously when she has been drinking. This can happen often enough, although she will never drink on the job. She has see too many bartenders, over the years, drink too much while they are working and end up getting fired for it. So, all in all Annabelle knows how to be outgoing without going over the limits and annoying people. She is very careful to not annoy people- because she doesn’t like it when people annoy her.
▪ stubborn- Even though Annabelle is considerate of other people, maybe even more so than she ought to be, there is a side to her- a much more determined and stubborn side. Annabelle used to try to keep it under control, but now she just doesn’t care if she gets into an argument with someone else. Alright, so she’s not going to argue about something stupid, but if she has a good point, then she will argue to the very end- when the other person usually just gives up to shut Annabelle up. Sure, she will annoy many people with this stubborn streak of hers- but there’s nothing she can do about it. Before she became a teenager, Annabelle didn’t have much of an attitude or a stubborn side. But, when Annabelle’s attitude developed through the teenage years, she developed this stubborn side and it just sort of stuck. Truth be told, Annabelle doesn’t really want to get rid of her stubborn side- she likes arguing, as long as she has a good point to prove. Or if the argument is about something important- like women’s rights or something like that. Needless to say, Annabelle enjoys her classes in school when they have debates going on. Especially back in high school, Annabelle really enjoyed getting into arguments and proving her teachers wrong. There was just something satisfying in the disbelief that was written all over her teachers’ face when she proved him wrong time after time. So, all you need to do is make sure that you are in a mood for a good fight- if you are willing to pick one with Annabelle. Even though she seems like the sweet little ballerina, she can hold her own in a fight.
▪ caring- Annabelle is a very caring sort of girl. She cares for the things in life that mean the most to her- like Mack, her dog, for example. She also cares about her older sister- Janelle, because Janelle was Annabelle’s only sibling that really ever cared about what she had to say or what she thought. If someone shows that they actually care about her, Annabelle doesn’t find it hard to care about someone else, not in the slightest. But it’s when she gets hurt, then it’s hard for her to really care about the person afterwards. Even though Annabelle has been let down many times, she doesn’t find it hard to trust someone- although she doesn’t immediately trust someone, it takes her a little while but not as long as some people that she has known. If you are lucky enough to get into Annabelle’s life, she won’t let you down. Annabelle is one of those good friends that you can depend on for anything. She never gossips behind people’s backs, and she will keep your secret until the day that she dies- if she really has to. Now, she does consider the situation, and if someone needs to know something very important, then she will break the promise. But- that’s only happened twice in her lifetime and Annabelle hopes that it will never happen again. She hates awkward situations like that, where she is trapped in the middle between two good friends.
▪ easy going- Annabelle is a very calm and easy going type of girl. She doesn’t get too stressed out about anything, unless she is going through exams in school. But in situations where most people loose their coolness, Annabelle never notices a change in herself. She can remain quite level-headed in situations that usually would call for some panic attacks in other people. There have been a few situations where Annabelle’s level-headedness has come handy. Both incidents occurred in Detroit, when her family stayed there for a majority of their time. Anna had to help out her younger sister because she had gotten trapped between a heavy cardboard moving box, and the wall- just before they were going to leave the house. Annabelle had been the only one left, besides her sister- and she had to be very calm to focus on pushing the box out of the way, as she saw her sisters’ face turn blue as she started to suffocate. Instead of freaking out and trying to get someone else to fix the problem, Annabelle remained calm and managed to free her sister. The other time that Annabelle managed to keep a clear head, was when her older sister had gotten shot in the leg- when they had been walking home from one of the clubs. Annabelle had managed to get her sister to the hospital, without freaking out and she actually managed to calm Janelle down. Situations like those, where other people loose their minds- Annabelle manages to stay calm, and she has no idea why. Maybe it has to do with the fact that growing up, the Trent household was never quiet and relaxed, especially with four young kids running around.
OVERALL APPEARANCE[/b] Annabelle has always taken great care in her body, she jogs around town when the weather is nice and she is also practicing ballet- something she has stuck with when she started at the age of seven. And before that she had been on the soccer travel team for about six years or so (which is when she broke her ankle), so she’s very athletic but then again she has some curves which gets her attention. Annabelle’s eyes are a dark chocolately colour. No, they don’t change colour. The shade will change when she looks up at the sun compared to looking somewhere dark. Annabelle used have her hair short, and blond. But now it is brown and long. She likes it wavy rather than straight, and it’s the easiest to style that way. All she does is blow dry her hair and then put some hairspray in it. It’s that simple. Sure, if she’s dressing up a bit nicer than she’ll straighten her hair or curl it with her curling iron. Sometimes she will come up with different styles too. Instead of having it straight and down she might tie up half of her hair or something… or she might make her hair in soft curls or in very tight curls. Her hair is very willing, so the options are endless. She likes to kind of keep up with the fashion trends, especially when she gets a new pay check. She either spends the money on clothes or on her car. Sometimes she wears skinny jeans, but she prefers to wear the flared jean kind. For tops? There’s no limit - she wears layered ones, summery ones and tight fitting ones. Her body doesn’t limit her - she is fit and happy with how she looks so she doesn’t hide behind baggy clothes. Annabelle has never been worried about what she wore, she just shops around until she finds something that she knows she’ll like and make sure that it’s comfy. She doesn’t buy things just for the sake of them being “in”. Annabelle went through a period of rebelling against her rich, stuck-up parents. That’s when she got her hair cropped short and dyed a bright blond. That had sent her mother reeling in the other direction. Then just when everyone had gotten used to that look, Annabelle dyed her hair brown and started to get into piercings. She got her ears pierced and then (to her mother’s horror) her belly button. She was tempted to get her nose pierced, but one of her friends convinced her that her belly button being pierced would piss her mom off more. And her friend was right. Annabelle had been grounded for a few weeks, and was told to take out the piercings. Of course Annabelle didn’t, she just grew her hair longer to cover up her ear piercings and made sure that when she went swimming she didn’t go with her mom around. Annabelle got a little tattoo done on the inside of her left ankle, a bunch of swirls done in black lines. It represents anger to her - and it’s on the same ankle that she broke when she was six years old.
HISTORY[/b]
i will add this in laterrr.[/ul]
`WHEN HES INSIDE YOU KNOW THERES NO ROOM FOR ME!
[/font] Anna turned her head to him, a smile on her maw as she listened to what he had to say to her. She always listened especially close to whatever Kaze had to say to her. Heh I usually eat somethin’, but ‘ey. I’d rather eat with ya. I that means not eatin’ for a few hours, then so be it. Anna blushed, not furiously or anything like that, but she had a sinking feeling that he would be able to tell. Ducking her head down for a second, she composed herself. What the hell was wrong with her? Brushing that thought to the side, she looked at Kaze, a smile back up on her lips. Thanks - that means a lot - but you don’t need to starve yourself to eat with me… She giggled, she didn’t quite believe him when he had told her that he’d rather wait to eat with her - because there had been plenty of times when they’d run into one another and he’d already eaten. But then again, some days he ate lighter than others. She looked at him for a moment longer, lingering her gaze before turning away. She looked over at Max, the dog was still playing with the bone - she stifled a giggle - she thought he looked so cute. Although he looked cute doing just about anything, Max was just a cute done all in all.
Her head turned at the sound of his voice - he’d been quite for a while - although she had been blabbing her mouth. Well, the coffee filled me up - until I spilt it. Anna’s eyes widened ( oh but why was she surprised? ). She knew just how hard it was to get coffee stains out of clothing… she rolled her eyes at him, a crooked smile on her face. Well I am willing to bet that you weren’t wearing a good shirt, so the stain doesn’t matter. Right? She smiled. Kaze wasn’t the type of guy who dressed up much, which was fine for her. It wasn’t like he stank whenever he was around her. Of course - he possibly couldn’t when he showered twice a day. She smiled again. I know ya love to eat wood. Very delicious. Anna giggled, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. She shouldn’t have ever said that all she had in her home was cupboards to eat. Even though it had been the truth. Then again, she liked it when Kaze teased her - because she knew that he didn’t mean any of it. Looking at Max she smiled. He was chewing the bone to shreds, she knew that she’d have to vacuum later on… well, tomorrow… or the next day. Whenever she got around to it. There were little pieces of the bone scattered in a large circle around where the bone currently was on her carpet. She sighed, a hand moving up to her hip as Max looked over at panted at her. She couldn’t be mad at that cute face for long, now could she?
Lifting her dark watchful eyes upwards, she gazed into Kaze’s face as he spoke to her. Oh how she could get used to talking to him all day long. Yeah I do - Look how cute and ‘distracted’ he is! Anna giggled, he did have a good point there. She shrugged, she was beat in that little argument, and she knew it. Which is why she shut her trap. Besides, Kaze was talking again. Aww, don’t be so mean! He’d give you them puppy eyes. That ya can’t resist. Anna looked over at him as she heard him pause and found herself starring into a cute, innocent face. Yes, of course he also made really good faces. She giggled at him, Oh okay, fine. But that would only work for you. She smiled, he did have a very innocent face when he tried. She sighed, putting a hand on her hip, she had been beat again - tonight was going to be full of defeat on her side if she didn’t fight back. Not that she would yell at him or anything, but he was teasing her like always. Why she didn’t have anything to throw back at him, she didn’t know. Maybe it was because she was hungry. Yeah - that and she’d rather go and watch a movie right now with him… too much talking. That might be the very first time Anna has thought that - and with Kaze around - she knew that it wouldn’t be the last time. She never had to worry about awkward silences though, which was a bonus being close to him.
She smirked triumphantly when he took her two fives and slipped them into his pocket. She was happy that he took her cash - it wasn’t like this was a date, so he shouldn’t have to pay for it all. Sure, she was providing the place to crash at, but she would have felt guilty all night long if he hadn’t accepted her two fives. Not like it would make her broke anyways… Her job as a bartender gave her a pretty good cash flow - and if she needed a bit more, she’d just pick up some more shifts - as simple as that. She walked over to her purse and shoved her wallet into it, then zipped it up and hung it up on a rack in her closet that was right near the front door. Walking back to where Kaze was standing, she stood near him, watching him as he unloaded the food. She could only imagine just how hungry he was. Nope, most. Anna smiled, rolling her eyes. He always had a smart come-back, didn’t he? Oh well, they cheered her up, she could never get enough of Kaze… although sometimes she wished that they would be a bit more serious with one another. That’s just her annoying mature side coming out. She often had to shove it right out the window when Kaze was ever over because being serious with him? Yeah right - don’t hold your breath for that one! He was practically a kid still… which made her smile. She liked how he was immature… he never seemed to do it overboard.
She lifted her eyes up to his face, she had been staring down at the counter as he rummaged around in the large bag. Seriously, Anna. I mean, come on - Ya know me? No one can resist this sexy face! She could hear the sarcasm dripping in his voice and had to laugh at his comment. No, she couldn’t resist that sexy face… but she wasn’t going to admit that to him - nor did she show him any emotion except for a smile. Oh yeah… well I suppose that nobody could… then again the guy who usually takes orders down is a guy… and I think straight so how are you going to get out of that, huh? She gave him a challenging look, oh yes sometimes she could be persistent just like him. They had some traits in common, but enough of opposites so that they got along. Watching him for a moment, she looked away - to Max who was tiring, his chewing replaced with tender licks. She made a face, and turned away from him. She watched Kaze again, yeah she watched him a lot, but could you blame her? ‘Nobody could resist this sexy face…’ She heard his words reply again and again in her head, why were they sticking? She didn’t know… all she knew was that she was a sucker for his gorgeous face. And the fact that he treated her right… he’d always been really nice to her.
Heh, sure. She smirked, he wasn’t one to always admit everything 100% and she knew that. She didn’t care though, a ‘sure’ from Kaze was a ‘yes’ from anybody else. She smiled at him, rolling her eyes. She watched as he mumbled something, but didn’t press. He was probably mumbling about food or his stomach hurting or something along those lines. She was about to get them some plates, but he beat her to it. She smiled - he was familiar with her place and how everything was laid out. Of course, she rarely changed it around. She hadn’t since she’d first moved here… a while ago. She just didn’t see the whole point of moving things around… it didn’t change how much you had. Why would I get ‘chicken’ balls when I got my own! Anna laughed – Well I don’t think that you’d appreciate me eating your balls - so you had better have some chicken ones! She laughed again, she liked how they were so relaxed around one another. They could joke about everything, apparently. This wasn’t the first time that they had joked about sexual stuff like this… his mind often went there and she didn’t complain - it wasn’t like he was completely dirty about it. Looking around, she let her eyes fall upon the food that was now lined up in front of her, between them both. She just wanted chicken balls… that’s it. No, not Kaze’s balls - chicken ones. She smirked as she grabbed a fork that he laid down near her plate. Plucking a few of the chicken balls onto her plate, she sighed. Then she grabbed a few more. That was her dinner.
So it takes ya more than three hours to get ready? Anna… She rolled her eyes. No it didn’t Kaze. It took you that long to get ready. Besides, why would I prepare a couple movies tonight when you would probably just complain about them and want something else? Oh no, I just took the easier route out and took my time getting ready. She paused, looking down at her pathetic meal. She really should eat more. But she just couldn’t bring herself to doing so. Oh - and I got hung up at the stupid store because some lady in front of me was shopping for a freakin’ huge ass party. Anna rolled her eyes, it had really annoyed her. She would have had time for a lie down if she hadn’t been rushing around like an idiot because of someone else’s fault. Getting up she walked to her fridge. What would you like to drink. Beer? Water? I think that I might have some OJ… She peered inside, yep she had orange juice and a twelve pack of Budlight… yeah, she bought beer for herself. It was for the nights when she was just too lazy to get up and go out to a club. Not to mention, she didn’t have to worry about driving home drunk if she stayed home to drink.
She grabbed herself a glass of water, she didn’t like beer with chicken balls… Shuddering at the thought, she grabbed a tall glass and used the little ice cube and water dispenser on the front of her fridge. Walking back to her seat she sat down, placing the water in front of her… He could grab whatever he wanted, she just had to put the offer out there. Stabbing a chicken ball with her fork she lifted it up to her lips and took a bite of it. She sighed, closing her eyes for a moment. She hadn’t eaten much today either - she just realized that. Taking another bite, she finished it off and looked up at Kaze as he spoke to her, yet again. How long did it take for ya to look that pretty? She almost choked on the chicken ball in her mouth. She took a sip of her water, and then looked over at him. He thought she looked pretty? She knew that he could be blunt, but seriously? Um… it took me only twenty minutes or so… probably less. She didn’t think that she looked pretty - just like every other insecure women. But she did like the compliment, it had already added colour to her dark cheeks. Thank you… She mumbled, ducking her head. A compliment from Kaze was rare, although suddenly they seemed to be coming more often than usual. She stabbed another chicken ball, and took a smaller bite of it. Chewing thoughtfully, she let her eyes move up to his face.
